The time draws near... >>cue our collective sucking in of breath<< and shit is getting real! As excited as we are for this year, we're also sliiiightly apprehensive as we are *very* low on events being held in Hushville this year. This might not seem like a big deal (hey, we all just wanna have epic fun on the playa right?!) but come next year it'll be a pretty big deal as Hushville might not be placed on playa due to our current lack of interactivity...
So, we gotta level up! [flexes her nonexistent rippling muscles]... This year we'll be hosting a silent library to bump up our participation hours. You can sign up to be a sexy AF librarian here (click the big pink button) for a couple of shifts. Yes, this counts towards your Hushville participation so that you don't have to host an event! (but you DEFS can still host an event or two <3)
Please add to your (already overloaded) BRC list:
- register to camp with Hushville (blue button)
- sign up for a library shift or three (pink button)
- sign up for a Hushville greeters shift or three (green button)
- help out with our library inventory: we need folding tables, folding chairs and (duh!) books... specifically we need fiction, self-help, art, spirituality and erotica genres
- register to host an event (click the green 'submit event' button)
- if you want to co-host an event with someone (like, someone that you don't know yet), pop it on the discussion board!
We're also seeking a creative human who can whip up a quick design for a Hushville library roll-up canvas sign. We'll pay for the sign and postage etc - we just need someone with juicy creative flair who can lend a hand with design. It won't be difficult - we promise!
