Rebar - Quite Possibly The Worst MOOP

Please! Please! Do not leave behind rebar! It becomes a tire destroyer. Last year I had to pull multiple pieces of rebar in our camp area. Once Black Rock City is gone the playa becomes a highway that people drive across, sometimes very fast. A blow out could be catastrophic.

A vise grip can remove most rebar. If you are having trouble removing rebar ask your neighbors or a Flounder. Many of us bring stake pullers or long crowbars that will easily get the most stubborn rebar out of the playa.

Badger showed me a very easy way to remove rebar. I need to make a video (maybe it will happen this year).
1) Take 2 large box wrenches
2) Slide the box end of both over the rebar.
3) Have one box wrench in each hand.
4) Pull up on wrenches while twisting.
The rebar will easily pull right out, much easier than it goes into the playa. Not sure how bad this is on the wrenches, so use some you don't care about.
