Yikes, Tarp Dandruff
Hi folks, as I’m packing up, I made some discoveries that could create some MOOP issues that I’d thought worth sharing. Several of the side panels for my shade canopies & floor tarps have suffered UV & aging damage causing a tarp dandruff of micro plastic particles on inspection. This is frustrating but a few years on the playa & several more in Covid lock down I guess this is expected but they need replacing.
Also in need of replacing, some work gloves exfoliating their rubber grip coating and many of the neck ties on my yard art are thread bare and flaking small bits of material. All these are subtle forms of MOOP that are easy to overlook because they can be very small particles.
